Here's what's happening as we work toward building the new Lee Public Library Community Center

Thank you, Lee Voters!

Thank you for supporting Warrant Articles #4 and #19 in the recent election.

The town will now have more flexibility as it plans to either renovate and enlarge the current library building or to build a new building at a location of the town’s choosing, not restricting it to one specific site. And the library will be able to replace furnishings that have seen nearly 30 years of service.

Construction Management Firm Selected

On October 14, the Select Board accepted the Building Committee's recommendation to hire Milestone Engineering & Construction as the Construction Manager for the Library Community Center project. The committee met with Brian Gehris, David Baer and architect Dennis Mires on October 17 to discuss the most recent revisions to the floor plan and elevations.  During this pre-construction phase, Milestone will work with the committee and the architect to estimate the cost of the building as accurately as possible.
